Fun weekend with my parents

For Halloween, the girls at my job decided

to dress up as lawn ornaments (from the movie

Gnomio and Juliet). So I am going to be a

pink flamingo....the picture below is my mom trying

to make a beak for me.....

here are all of the supplies to get us started

on the beak....

We finally have a finished product :)

I am trying to decide how a flamingo

stands, although here I look like a chicken

trying to peck the ground for food...

I think it will be a fun day at work that day ;)

One of our other projects while my parents

were visiting was to polish a silver tea set that

my mom owns and is going to use for a Christmas

Brunch that she is hosting...

Look how tarnished this set is....

So we bought some TarnX and put on

some old clothes and decided to work

together so we could chat while we polish.

We really are polishing these shiny even though I stopped

for a picture...

And some more scrubbing and polishing....

Now look how this set turned out. Isn't it an amazing

difference??

We had such a good time and

accomplished a lot of projects while

they were down here.

Victory

Exodus 14:14 says "The Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace." When you are in the middle of a trial, it feels like it is never-ending. Will we be able to conquer? Will the battle plan actually work? The devil just keeps attacking and the battle feels like it just won't stop. Even when we know the battle plan is solid and we know what to do, it is hard. At times, God tells us to hold our peace and He will fight the battle for us. Do you know how hard it is to just surrender control to God? God has been dealing with my heart lately that we need to start proclaiming the victory over all situations. Over the sickness that we are fighting, over the stressful situations that you may be facing, just proclaim victory over your life. We need to proclaim God's victory. He wrote the battle plan. He knows what your future holds. God even understands the stress from the middle of the battlefield. Vic...

Do you ever feel like you have been put on a shelf and no one ever truly sees you anymore?
