A whole new house!!!!

Wow, this has been an awesome month.  We finally got our new washer and dryer!  I was so excited to get them since the set we had was probably over 20 years old.  Now we have a new front loader washer and the matching dryer.  Here are a few pictures of our new laundry set.... I tried to get a close up to show you what it looks like :) Then my in-laws decided to buy new furniture so they asked Nate and I if we wanted the couch and chair that they were not going to be using any longer.  So we sold our couch and love seat that we had this last weekend to make room for some new furniture. The recliner we bought from Costco because it just looked so comfortable :) It is like a whole new house!!! We are excited to have all different stuff in our house now!!!

Christmas Day Fun!!!!

For Christmas this year, we went to my parent's house to  spend Christmas with my family.  It was a lot of fun. Here is a picture of the grandma's getting ready to watch the kids open their Christmas presents.... And a picture of my brother Jeremy and his fiance' Amy.... We took turns opening gifts so everyone could see watch what was being opened.  Here is my nephew Brayden opening his present with Cheyenne and Trevin watching to see what he gets... Grandpa is just chilling and watching all of the activity. Trevin was so excited to open his presents... My brother Jon was not wanting his picture taken so he was making funny faces at the camera :) Here is Nathan opening up one of his presents.  He  thought he would pose for the camera before he finished opening his gift.... More present opening.... This is what the room looked like with all of the presents open.  Now it is time to get a garbage bag and try to  clean up all...

Christmas Parties

A couple weeks before Christmas some of my husbands relatives decided to get together for a big Christmas dinner.  The majority of the relatives live about two hours from us, so we headed out when Nate got off work and drove down to visit with everyone. Here is a picture of Nate's cousin Jamie and her husband Rob.... A picture of some of the Aunts and Uncles.... Here is Nate's cousin Katie and her boyfriend.... And of course, here is Nathan and I... We did a white elephant gift exchange..here is Pat opening her present... Nate just realized that his popcorn is gluten-free and fat-free.. But he still wanted the caramel corn. For Christmas my mom made homemade caramel corn so this tub of  popcorn is still sitting in our house waiting to be eaten.  It was a fun dinner  getting to know a few of the cousins that I hadn't met before.

More Christmas fun.....

Nate and I went to the Christmas Tree Lighting that is held in downtown Boise.  Here are some fun pictures that we took while waiting for our friends Bo and Kristina to join us.... Of course Bo is the one who's thumb is in the background.  He is always randomly putting a thumbs up in pictures when he gets a chance to. Here are our friends that were with us having a good time. Since we went down to the tree lighting about 530 we didn't have a chance to eat dinner before hand so we all decided to stop at Five Guys for dinner. These pictures below are from the lighted Christmas parade. Nate and I thought it would be fun to go check out.  I love parades!! Here are a few of the floats that were all lit up.... This semi truck was all decked out for the parade. Hope you enjoy the fun pictures.  I love all of the fun stuff that there is to do at Christmas time!!!!

Christmas Decorating and other fun stuff.....

I love to decorate for Christmas.  Seeing all of the Christmas stuff just makes me smile.  So a couple weeks ago I got my Christmas village out and set it up on the counter leading into our kitchen. Here is a picture of my Christmas village... I thought I would add  close up of it so you could have a better idea of what you are looking at.... Here is a picture of the village with the Christmas lights on.... I then got our Christmas tree out so I could decorate it.  We live in an apartment so we just have a little four foot tree. And here is our tree with the lights on.  It looks so much better with the lights turned on. And since I was doing the Christmas decorating inside, Nathan got to decorate outside.  Here he is starting to put the lights up. I had to get a few different angles of him putting up the lights. Enjoy the journey of Christmas decorating with us.  Now it is time for some hot coffee or hot apple cider to warm up.  ...
