More Christmas fun.....

Nate and I went to the Christmas Tree Lighting that is held in downtown Boise.  Here are some fun pictures that we took while waiting for our friends Bo and Kristina to join us.... Of course Bo is the one who's thumb is in the background.  He is always randomly putting a thumbs up in pictures when he gets a chance to. Here are our friends that were with us having a good time. Since we went down to the tree lighting about 530 we didn't have a chance to eat dinner before hand so we all decided to stop at Five Guys for dinner. These pictures below are from the lighted Christmas parade. Nate and I thought it would be fun to go check out.  I love parades!! Here are a few of the floats that were all lit up.... This semi truck was all decked out for the parade. Hope you enjoy the fun pictures.  I love all of the fun stuff that there is to do at Christmas time!!!!

Christmas Decorating and other fun stuff.....

I love to decorate for Christmas.  Seeing all of the Christmas stuff just makes me smile.  So a couple weeks ago I got my Christmas village out and set it up on the counter leading into our kitchen. Here is a picture of my Christmas village... I thought I would add  close up of it so you could have a better idea of what you are looking at.... Here is a picture of the village with the Christmas lights on.... I then got our Christmas tree out so I could decorate it.  We live in an apartment so we just have a little four foot tree. And here is our tree with the lights on.  It looks so much better with the lights turned on. And since I was doing the Christmas decorating inside, Nathan got to decorate outside.  Here he is starting to put the lights up. I had to get a few different angles of him putting up the lights. Enjoy the journey of Christmas decorating with us.  Now it is time for some hot coffee or hot apple cider to warm up.  The weather has been beautiful, but rea

Road Trip...

This past week, Nathan and I decided to go for a drive to the little town of Parma, Idaho. Parma is about a 45 minute drive from our house.  So we go in Nate's car and off we went. It was a beautiful, sunny fall day.  I love to take pictures of the scenery as we are driving. Here is a picture of Nathan in the car as we were cruising along. We went out to dinner at a little diner called Apple Lucy's that is owned by our really good friends' parents.  We were enjoying our food so much that I forgot to take a picture of the diner as we were leaving. Instead I took a picture of the road sign as we were heading back to Nampa.  And then of course we ended our road trip at Costco : ) We needed to pick up a few things so shopping was the way to end our trip. It was so much fun and we ate so much food.

Decorating...

I decided to post some pictures of our harvest decorations.  This is our first Halloween together.  I love to decorate so when my parents came down to visit in the middle of October, my mother helped me put up some decorations.  Decorating is so much fun. Here is a picture of my deck....I love this scarecrow : ) and a picture of a few of the little decorations by my lamp... I made this wall-hanging with a little bit of help from my mother.  It is completely handstitched. This is the fall wreath on our front door... We live in an apartment so this is a little decoration by our front door. These are just a few decorations that I wanted to share with you from our first Halloween together.  Now we are getting ready for Thanksgiving and soon it will be time to put up all of our Christmas decorations.  I love to decorate for all of the holidays.

Off for an adventure at the Farmer's Market!!!

This last weekend my parents came down to visit my husband and I.  We had such an awesome visit and so much fun hanging out together.  On Saturday we drove down to Boise to the Farmers Market.  Here is a picture of Nate and I walking up to the market. My mom got a picture of us from the side as we were looking around at all of the booths. A friend of ours sells pies at the market every summer so we had to stop and buy one to enjoy for dessert that night.  :)  Here is my dad, Nathan and I (I am holding the pie so they won't be tempted to eat it while we are looking around). Mom and Dad posing for a picture in front of the water fountain. We were having such a fun time.  Nathan and Dad are trying to decide who is going to get to carry the pie now!!!! Now it is time for us to find the perfect pumpkin for our house. Dad is holding the door open for Mom.  Wasn't that sweet of him?? Mom and I couldn't resist being silly and getting a picture of Dad and Nate talking i

Ladies Retreat Weekend!!!

A few weekends ago I went to a Ladies Retreat with my friend Kristina.  It was a great time getting to know some really awesome women.  Here is a picture of the retreat building.  It is a campground/retreat that is owned by the Nazarene Church.  They rent it out to a lot of different groups. Here is my friend Kristina in front of the building where we were staying. And below is a picture of me in front of the building. This was the room that we were staying in...It had about 8 bunk beds in each of the rooms. Kristina and I were both on the top bunk beds. The campground hires a chef to prepare all of our meals.  This was our breakfast the first morning we were there. They had quite a bit of food prepared for us. Here is a picture of the building at night.  I thought it looked really neat with all of the lights on! We had some free time on Saturday.  Here is a picture of me making a card.  I am not real creative with this type of thing, but the lady in charge of the cra

Our first camping trip together!! Part 2

So one of the most fun things about Wallowa Lake is going up to the store for an ice cream cone.  They have wonderful and huge ice cream cones. Here is a picture of my parents, Nathan, his mom and brother and a couple of our friends enjoying their ice cream. My mom and a couple of our friends enjoying the ice cream.  Such a fun time :) Here is Nathan and his dad enjoying a cup of coffee outside of his parents camper. Nathan is looking at his phone getting ready for a golf tournament that he will be going to on Monday. He has his golf club out to practice with it.  I think he is trying to find the nearest golf course to us. So I decided to do a little bit of shopping.  Isn't this such a cute little store.  It is called Heidi's Towne Shoppe. Nathan is chatting with our friend Henry. Both just enjoying the scenery. On Sunday, we had a potluck with the families that we know that we're camping or had come up for the day. Here is my nephew Trevin trying to climb th
