Now to decorate the reception location....

The next step is decorating for the reception.  So off we head for our next adventure.  Here is a picture of my future sister-in-law Amy.  She is helping to get the candy buffet all ready to go... Didn't the candy buffet turn out beautiful? It was so much fun planning this... Here is my mom putting the finishing touches on the cake table. And the final result.... It is all ready for the party to begin!!! It will be a wonderful reception :)

Decorating the church, Part 2

Here is a picture of my mom, my fiance Nathan and my oldest brother trying to decorate the archway at the back of the church.... Jason and Nathan are trying to decide how to hang the bells in the middle... Here I am trying to finish off decorating the pews.  So close to the finish line now!!

Decorating the church!!

Almost to the finish line!!  Yay!! Now it is time for the rehearsal day and decorating the church and the reception location. Here is a picture of my mom with two of my nieces, taking a break from all of the craziness... Here are the ring bearer pillows and flower girl baskets that we plan to use.  Aren't they cute? The final product, here is the front of the church all decorated and ready to begin.  I love how the pillars turned out... On the right is my mom visiting or explaining what needs done next, On the left is my oldest brother Jason trying to help finish decorating the pews so we can move on to the next item. Here is my nephew, Brayden, leading the flower girls down the aisle... My dad just practiced walking me down the aisle and now we are figuring out where to stand next. Nathan and I are practicing our vows. Here is a picture of everyone just taking a minute to visit and hoping that it is almost time to go eat!!!

More wedding decorations...pillars this time.

I decided that I wanted pillars at the front of the church for my wedding.  I saw a picture of this when looking at decorations and thought it woud look elegant.  So now it is time to put lights on the pillars so they will show through and add just the right touch to the front..... Here is my mom helping with one of the pillars, we need a total of six of them.... And my oldest brother, Jason helping us work on them. My younger brothe decided to join the fun and see if he could help us get them done. He decided to take a break and answer his phone while helping :) My soon to be sister-in-law decided to see what the fun was all about since we had these spread all over the living room floor. Finally, we make it to the last one of putting white lights all over the pillars.  in order to get the lights on we had to push the lights through the hole and then zip-tye the cord so the lights would stay right where we wanted them and not fall off during the wedding... Once we get to

Search for the perfect cake backdrop continued...

I posted earlier that I was making a backdrop for my cake table.  Well, after getting the work all done I didn't like the look of it with the purple so now here I am taking off the purple to change it over to a white backdrop. So now my sister-in-law Shelly and soon to be sister-in-law Amy are helping me put the white lights on to the backdrop.... After getting the white lights on, they start trying to figure out how to drape the white material on to the backdrop.... After a team effort and a couple hours, we just have to add a bow to the middle... Here is the finished product...Soon you will get to see it with the rest of the backdrop at the cake table.
