Salt Lake City, Utah Vacation

We decided to go to Salt Lake City, Utah for our vacation this year.  We stayed at the Sheraton in Downtown  Salt Lake City.   Here is a picture of the hotel (taken from their website)  I forgot to take a picture while I was there. The night we arrived, we decided to go out to dinner, but didn't want to pay $6-$10 for parking so we decided  to walk to the restaurant.  It had been raining off and on, and when we decided to walk it started raining a lot.  After stopping and checking out a few places we decided to eat at PF Changs. Here is a picture of the horse that is the mascot of PF Changs.... And a picture of Nathan after he dried off a little bit : ) The next day we decided to go to City Creek  Shopping Center.  It is a really neat outdoor shopping center  and then the part that is in a building has a roof that can be retracted to let the sunshine in when it is nice outside. Yard Work

So now that is it starting to get nice outside, it is time to start working on the yard and trying to get it under control. Here is Nathan trimming up a few of the bushes in the front of our house. Look at what a mess we are creating, but at least the bushes will look nice and pretty once we get them cut back to where they  should be... Here I am helping to trim the shrubs.. Nathan is testing the sprinkler system so we can start watering our grass.  :) Here is a picture of the front of our house... Once we finished on the bushes, we decided it  was time to move to the backyard.  I decided that I wanted to try my hand at a raised garden.   Here is my picture of trying to start the raised garden.
