Hair Appointment

So the next step on getting ready for the wedding was to have a trial hair appointment to decide how I am going to wear my hair for the big day.  So off I go with my mom to the appointment, armed with my veil and tiara and a few ideas of what I think will look good on me.  We arrive at the salon a few minutes early and have a seat to look through the books of hair ideas. While we are waiting, my mom decides to get a picture of me for my scrapbook that I plan to make after the wedding about my journey.  She stands up to get my picture and a gentleman (who has Down's syndrome) comes over and sits next to me ready to have his picture taken.  He was really friendly :) Now we are ready to get down to business.  Here is a picture of me showing the stylist some ideas that I was looking at.... I wanted to wear my hair up for the wedding so the stylist clips my hair and decides to start out by curling all my hair to give her a base to work with as she pins up my hair. Still curlin

Sorting through stuff

I am driving my mother crazy by all of the mess that I have created in her house between planning the wedding and moving.  Yesterday my goal of the day was to sort through all of my stuff and sort it in to tupperwares.  One set are the items that I am taking to the church to decorate for the wedding and another set is all of the items that are going to decorate the reception.  It took a few hours to sort through all of it and to separate it in to the tupperwares that I had labeled. Here is a few of the items that were going to the rehearsal... My mom was a tremendous help in sorting and packing.  She took my picture so I could blog about all of the fun we were having. It was quite a mess in my parent's house for a while, but my mother and I had some really good talks and some good times while going through everything.  Finally got it all sorted and put away to await the big day!!
