My friend Kristina is due to have her baby in September so we had a baby shower for her this past week. I was helping with the food and decided to create a watermelon baby carriage. So I got my watermelon and cut into it and scooped out all of the insides. Here is a picture of the watermelon after I started carving the sides to give it some character. I then added a handle and used orange slices as wheels... Once I got it to this point, I cut up the watermelon that I had scooped out into little squares to put in the basket... Here is a picture of the final product at the shower..It turned out really well. I also found a recipe for cheesecake stuffed strawberries on pinterest that I wanted to try so I got a package of strawberries... And washed them off and put them on a cookie sheet to dry....
